CS/ECE Merger

What was once the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is now the Division of Electrical and Computer Engineering, part of the new School of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science. The former Department of Computer Science is now the Division of Computer Science, also part of the School. The new School was born 2 July 2012.

ECE and Computer Science faculty and staff offices moved to Patrick Taylor Hall early July 2012. Phone numbers and E-mail addresses have not changed. The moves will not affect the degree programs of the two entities, so current students' plans of study are safe. Classroom and laboratory locations are not being changed.
