Grading Update 2:Final Exam Yrades Ready
Overall the grades were much better than the midterm exam.
The median is 60, more than doubling the midterm median of 29.
The high was a 93. Decide whether you want to get it out
of the way before the Artemis I splashdown, or wait until after.
Then when the time is right click here.
The course grades won't be decided until Monday. The next grading
update will be posted by about Monday 13:00.

Updated the documentation for OpenGL Shading language (from 4.5
to 4.6) on the references page. Chapter 8 describes functions
that can be used in shader code, such as for computing
cross products.

(probably after the EE 4755 midterm exam is graded).

In Homework 2, Problem 2 the positioning of the paddle wheel
will be higher than the positioning shown in the screenshot
in the assignment. (That is because the screenshot was
taken when the square was higher than it turned out to be.)

Fixed (actually worked around) a problem that prevented
the debug version of hw02, hw02-debug, being made. To
get the fix execute "git pull". This won't cause problems
unless you've edited the file named Makefile in the
assignment directory.
Due to early lab closure on Friday, and to help people submit better
solutions (at the risk of developing bad habits) the
Homework 1 deadline has been extended to Sunday, 4
September at 23:59 CDT. Late assignments will be accepted up until
class time on Wednesday. E-mail late submissions.

The Homework 1 deadline has been extended to
Friday, 2 September 2022. This change was made to accommodate the
efforts being carried out to mitigate the campus-wide chicken sandwich
shortage, which in part require cutting power to Patrick F. Taylor
Hall Thursday night.
