Here are the exam rules (which may not have been mentioned in class): Closed book, closed notes. Can bring one 216 by 280 mm note sheet, which can contain anything you want and on all two sides! You can even keep it after the exam!! You cannot bring a magnifying class, microfiche viewer, or anything like that to read it. (Unless you have a severe vision problem of course.) Try to ask questions about the final exam on this forum topic so that others can benefit from the answers. For those feeling shy, I'll still answer E-mailed questions. Happy studying! |

Grading Update 3: Problems 1-3 graded. The big disappointment is Problem 3(d), the π program, but answers to the other problems were okay. (I'll give the solution in class, but feel free to look at it before and figure out the correct answer. Many might also want to read 3(b) more closely too.) Grading will continue on Sunday morning and the next grading update will be posted by 12:00 Central Daylight Time. |
2 April 2005, 11:28:52 CST
Grading Update 2: Problems 1 and 2 graded, problem 3 partially graded. Most did well on problem 2, the most common mistake was not realizing that the load was a FP load and that it loaded into f20. Grades will be posted no earlier than Sunday morning. The next grading update will be posted by 16:00 today. |
1 April 2005, 18:55:33 CST
Grading Update 1b: (This is an extra, unscheduled grading update.) Problem 1 graded. Most did well and most realized that if the C5:1 were changed to C5:0 the second instruction would be a load. Only one or two people correctly answered that the solution would then be impossible because there would be no way to bypass the loaded value to the third instruction. |
