EE 4720 - Summer Reading

Did you enjoy EE 4720 (Computer Architecture)? Do you want to impress recruiters in a job interview? Curious about how close the course material came to describing a real computer? Nothing to do this summer?
If you answered yes to any of these questions then get yourself a copy of the papers listed below. They describe two modern (assuming I keep this page up to date) processors, pulling together much of the material covered in the course. Reading them is a good way to cement your understanding of the material (it's a shame to waste tuition money by forgetting what you've learned), to prepare for job interviews, and to prepare for advanced courses.
When available, links are provided to full-text versions of the material. Some of the material is copyrighted and requires a subscription (e.g., ACM Digital Library) or one-time payment for access. The journals are available in the library and can be borrowed from the instructor.
