LSU Geometric and Visual Computing (GVC) Lab

The LSU GVC lab, led by Dr. Xin Li, locates at Louisiana Digital Media Center near the LSU university lake. Our recent research focus includes computer graphics, computer vision, geometric modeling, medical imaging, and large-scale geometric data processing, understanding, and visualization. We develop cutting-edge 2D/3D/4D image and geometric data processing and analysis algorithms to facilitate broad scientific research tasks and practical applications. Some ongoing projects can be found here.
  • The LSU GVC lab has RA positions for intelligent and self-motivated PhD students with strong computer and/or math background. Please Contact Prof. Xin Li if you are interested.
