ECE doctoral student Vanya Cherneva (left in photo) was awarded the Eleanor Earle Memorial American Association of University Women (AAUW) Scholarship on the 24th of April, 2014, the scholarship was presented by John Earl (right in photo). Mr. Earl's late wife worked hard for the AAUW, and for that the scholarship took her name. This scholarship, which is now 100 years old, is awarded by the Baton Rouge Chapter of the American Association of University Women.
