Assistant/Associate/Full Professor (tenure track). The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at LSU invites applications for tenure-track or visiting positions at all levels available January 2003 or until positions are filled. Areas of interest are the following 1) electronics including semiconductor processing, device physics including quantum size effects, VLSI design, MEMS, intelligent sensors and actuator design and fabrication; 2) information technology, including wireless communication, signal and image processing, systems software, networking, computer architecture, and antenna theory and design. Required Qualifications: Ph.D. or equivalent degree in electrical or computer engineering or related field and potential for excellence in teaching and research are required. The positions involve teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in electrical or computer engineering and research in areas of individual interests. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Release time and resources are provided in order to enhance the development of a quality research program.
